Lonnie Johnson Jr. plays cornerback for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League. At Kentucky, he played collegiate football.
Early Life And Family, Education
In Gary, Indiana, on November 4, 1995, Lonnie Johnson Jr. was born to Lonnie Johnson and Nora Johnson. He spent his childhood playing with his brother, Darion.
Lonnie is of black ethnicity and is a citizen of the United States. On the internet, not much information has been made available regarding his parents or his early years.

With the Steelers and Broncos, Nora, Lonnie Sr., and Uncle Jason all played in two NFL seasons. His cousin Jon’Vea, a wide receiver from Toldeo, started his professional career with the Cowboys as a free agent.
Additionally, Gary’s birthplace is more akin to a criminal area. There is therefore something unfavorable coming.
After that, those events made him one of those who fantasized about doing something amusing and helpful for his hometown and returning the favor to his neighborhood.
High School
He continued attending Gary, Indiana’s West Side Leadership Academy. Jason, his uncle, continued to be his high school coach. In high school, he experimented with playing several positions and running the tracks.
Lonnie had originally committed to play college football at Ohio State University but had since dropped out of their recruiting class. So in place of that, he changed in 2014 to San Bernardino Valley College in California.
And 2014 was one of the worst years for him since he had a really difficult time paying his bills and, we assume, his parents were divorcing at the same time.
For the third time in a row, he changed to Garden City (Kansas) Community College, another college.
Kentucky University
Lonnie also booked a slot at Kentucky University for the 2017 campaign. For the final five games of his junior season, he snagged a starting position. And as a senior against Penn State in the Citrus Bowl, he made his first career interception.
Lonnie won the Super Bowl competition, when he first faced the Texans, after dominating his college career with 64 tackles and 12 pass breakups.
Professional Career
When Lonnie’s name was selected in the 2019 NFL draft, his family, particularly his uncle Jackson, experienced a moment of pride.
When the NFL draft picks were announced on TV, Loonie was watching with his mother, brother, and fiancée in the theater room of Gary’s West Side Leadership Academy.

In the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans selected Loonie as the 54th overall choice. His eyes welled up with tears of joy as soon as he heard the news.
On May 10, 2019, Lonnie signed his first-year contract with the Texans.
The Texans’ interim head coach and former defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel reportedly wanted to use him more as a safety than a cornerback. His physique is really well-suited for that job.
Additionally, Lonnie adores his new job and is working hard to get to know it. There are some noticeable fines and pains.
Personal Life
On November 17, 2018, he announced his partner and were having a child through an Instagram post.
On April 21, Lonnie traveled back to Kentucky and proposed to his girlfriend Selena Morgan. All of this occurred following his selection in the 2019 NFL draft.
