On March 2, 1990, Luke Albert Combs was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. Luke and his parents relocated to Asheville, North Carolina when he was eight years old.

He started singing at a young age, and even after beginning high school, he kept up his practice.

In February 2014, Combs released “The Way She Rides,” his debut extended play (EP). On July 1st, 2014, he issued his second EP, “Can I Get an Outlaw.” The popularity of Combs increased after his debut single “Hurricane” reached number 46 on Billboard’s “Hot Country Songs” list in 2015.

He released his third extended play, titled “This One’s for You,” in November 2015. After signing a deal with “Sony Music Nashville,” his hit “Hurricane” was then re-released through “Columbia Nashville.” In Tyler Adams’ 2016 music video for the song “Hurricane,” he made an appearance.

On June 2, 2017, Combs’ debut studio album, “This One’s for You,” became available via “Columbia Nashville.” At the time of its release, the song debuted at a spot at five. Likewise, it also became one of the “US Billboard 200” and “US Top Country Albums,” respectively.
