Mack Horton | Early Life and Education

On April 25, 1996, Cheryl Horton and Andrew Horton gave birth to Mack Horton, whose full name is Mackenzie Horton. He was likewise born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, with the solar sign of Taurus.

Additionally, Mack Horton has only been gaining victories during the entire journey. At the 2013 World Junior Championships in Dubai, he earned five gold and one silver medal in quick succession.

In 2014, he finished second in the 400-meter freestyle and fifth in the 200-meter freestyle, however at the Australian Swimming Championships, he won the 1500-meter freestyle event.

At the Commonwealth Games that year in Glasgow, he took home silver in the 1500-meter freestyle and placed fourth in the 400-meter freestyle.

In the 800-meter freestyle, he earned a silver medal at the 2014 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Gold Coast, Australia, to cap off the year.

Following Career

In 2016, Mack Horton took part in the Olympics for the first time. He represented Australia at the Summer Olympics when he won gold in the 400-meter freestyle and finished fourth in the 4 x 200-meter freestyle relay.

Horton won silver in the 400 m freestyle event at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. As recent evidence, Mack finished third in the 400-meter freestyle at the Australian Olympic Trials.

Injuries

Car Accident

In a single-vehicle collision in 2016, Mack Horton’s Land Rover overturned. He flipped the car he was riding in over the weekend while four-wheeling with his mates after hitting an embankment.

Fortunately, Mack’s other two friends were able to free him from the driver’s seat as the car overturned. The fact that his automobile was halted by a log helped him sustain only minor injuries is also lucky.

Bee Stung
