Robert Woods, a former classmate from high school, helped Lee gain a spot as the wide receiver as a true freshman.

The highest season stats for a pair of Trojans were 184 combined receptions by Woods and Lee and 2,435 receiving yards in 2011.

Marqise’s outstanding performance earned him the title of Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Co-Player of the Year. Additionally, he was chosen to the Second Team All-Pac-12.

Marqise also left the Houston Texans game during the second quarter of week 15 due to an ankle injury. For the upcoming two games, he sat out.

With a 10-6 record after the AFC South games, the Jaguars qualified for the playoffs. With a five-yard rush against the Buffalo Bills, Marqise opened the first postseason game of his career.

New England Patriots

On April 28, 2020, Marqise signed a one-year deal worth $1.04 million with the New England Patriots after being cut loose by the Jaguars.

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, Lee chose not to compete in the 2020 season.

Later, on March 18, 2021, he was cut go from the Patriots.

San Francisco 49ers

On May 17, 2021, he was released by the Patriots and penned a deal with the San Francisco 49ers. After signing his contract with the Patriots, he was released after four days.
