About Maycee Barber | Family
On May 18, 1998, Maycee Barber was born in Greeley, Colorado. Her proud parents Bucky and Maryanne Barber gave birth to her.
Maycee is one of her parents’ six children. She is the second-youngest child. Bucky and Maryanne Barber began teaching martial arts to practically all of their children at a young age.
Maycee started karate at the age of three. She was competent to teach adult martial arts at their family’s martial arts academy in Fort Collins, Colorado, at the age of 13.
Bucky and Maryanne wanted their children to be robust, but they never considered encouraging them to make it a career.

Maycee told her parents when she was 13 or 14 years old that she aspired to be a UFC fighter.
They couldn’t reply with grace because they didn’t want to witness their small girl get punched and kicked.
They taught their children MMA for self-defense. Nonetheless, after discovering that their daughter’s happiness is found in those punches and kicks, they rallied behind her enthusiastically.
Maycee’s Family | It was a family affair.
The family concluded that Maycee needed the best training possible since the better she gets, the fewer punches she will take.
Maycee’s parents took her throughout the United States in search of new possibilities and skills.
They were so obsessed with making Maycee the greatest that they drove from Fort Collins to Albuquerque, New Mexico, once a week.
In New Mexico, Maycee worked with Greg Jackson and Brandon Gibson. They attempted to link Maycee’s fate to Matt Hume, who is regarded as one of the top MMA coaches.
Maycee became involved with Team Alpha Male. Her parents forced her to meet and learn from people like Ryan Schultz and Matt Pena, Marc Montoya and Izzy Martinez, and others.
Some of the coaches were troubled by the meeting and learning from everyone in the firm’s idea.
Bucky Barber, on the other hand, didn’t care what an outsider thought. He remained firm in his belief that they must do everything possible to ensure his daughter’s well-being.
He previously stated that if it meant helping his daughter, he would gladly close his firm and relocate halfway across the nation. No one, it is thought, can raise a girl kid better than a feminist father.
Bucky Barber is, in fact, both a father and a feminist. Maycee would not be the champion today if it weren’t for Bucky and Maryanne.
Maycee and Her Family | The People Who Got Her There
Barber has worked with numerous coaches. Her father describes her as a Bruce Lee-style martial artist who needs a little bit of everything.
He believes that his daughter has had enough practice with the same coach and that continuing to do so will impair her cognitive skills.
At a high black belt level, she did two or three reps. As a result, meeting new people and absorbing their views would be the most beneficial to her.
Maycee Barber obtained her purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by just viewing Gracie University’s online video series with her older sister, Emma Barber.
After Emma adjusts to the video, it was more like learning secondhand from Emma.
