Meghan Markle shared her never seen pictures of a baby shower in a new episode of the docuseries, “Harry and Meghan”. She talked about her experiences and the backlash she faced after the party.
Meghan Markle talks about her experiences of the 2019 baby shower in the new episode of “Harry & Meghan”. She also shared many pictures of the grand day that her close friends attended. They really had a great time together and enjoyed it a lot.
Similarly, the venue was The Mark Hotel in New York City. In February 2019, Meghan celebrated her baby shower and the program includes a bouquet-making station, games, and so on.
Likewise, Meghan was pregnant with her son, Archie, and is probably her and Prince Harry’s first child together.
Well, Meghan was having a hard time and she was dealing with her mental health at the time. She was controlled by the royal family according to her and her friends. So, her friends decided to make her happy and feel special.
Therefore, all the decision of the celebration was of her friends. On the big day as seen in the photo, Meghan Markle was wearing a navy blue sleeveless dress which includes white polka dots. About the baby shower, Meghan stated,
“My girlfriends surprised me with a lovely baby shower in New York. They were like, we’re gonna shower her with love, we’re gonna shower her baby with love, and she’s gonna survive this.”
About 20 friends attended the baby shower which lasts for five days. Among 20, known faces like Serena Williams, Misha Nonoo, Amal Clooney, Silver Tree, Daniel Martin, Lindsay Roth, Jessica Mulroney, Abigail Spencer, etc showed their appearances in New York City.
The pictures shown in the new documentary include arranging flowers and laughing with each other. Not only this, but Meghan’s friend group also enjoyed a selection of drinks which includes mocktails and wine.

Furthermore, another picture shows Serena Williams and others placing their hands on Meghan Markle’s belly. There was also an arrangement of cake that featured both Prince Harry and Meghan’s pictures. Meanwhile, Markle gave whole credit to her best friends, Serena Williams, Jessica, and Genevieve Hillis. Also, Gayle King, a CBS presenter stated,
“It was a small, private affair, and a special time for her. Having a baby is a great thing.”
Talking more about the baby shower celebration, Serena Williams who is supposed to be a close friend of Meghan stated,
“It was just so cool and so fun to try to have an intimate moment.”
And, Silver Tree said,
“It’s like this really magical time of us just celebrating her.”

Apart from this, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first baby in May 2019. Well, he was a baby boy and they named him Archie. Though, Markle and Harry became parents for the second time with a beautiful daughter, Lilibet in June 2021.
