Moving on, Melvin signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers for $4 million on July 20th, 2021, with a signing bonus of $2,925,000 and $2,925,000 guaranteed. Further, Melvin’s annual salary was $4,000,000 on average.

Kansas City Chiefs

On November 2nd, 2021, Melvin was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Melvin suffered a hip injury on September 14th, 2014. Similarly, Melvin suffered a hamstring injury in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins on September 29th, 2019. Fortunately, Melvin’s team won the game, but he missed three games due to the injury.
