Babatunde Nayte Olukoya says that he didn’t cheat until he broke up with Michelle Young. He further says that he is a decent guy!! They announced their split on June 17.
Babatunde Nayte Olukoya, the “Bachelorette” alum says he didn’t cheat before the split. “No, I didn’t cheat,” he said. Over the weekend he shared lengthy statements in his Instagram stories trying to prove that he didn’t cheat. The message was followed by, “Yes, the pressures were insane for both of us. We tried. It didn’t work. We’re sad about it. We all grieve differently.”
The post came after the fans of “Bachelorette” suspected him to be unfaithful during season 18. Addressing his breakup he said, “Not every breakup needs to have someone to blame,”.
He wrote bullet points justifying that he is not guilty. Is it necessary to give explanations to anybody if you are not guilty??
Though he has given solid points on how he has not cheated anybody at any time. He claimed that fans are actually judging him because of his tattoos and piercings and they assume him as a fuck boy.
“Yes, many of you seem to paint me as a red flag/f–k boy. Maybe it’s the piercings and tattoos? Who knows. But I’m actually a decent guy, and I only want to continue getting better. As we should all want for ourselves.”
He posted a lengthy denial on his Instagram IG stories on Sunday.

The speculations that he cheated on Michelle is the time when he was hanging out with his friends. He says that his nights out were also as innocent as theirs. To this, he gave his justification by saying,
“Yes, I like to hang out with my guys. As she likes to hang out with her girls,” he added. “Nothing wrong with that. If anything, super healthy. We are social people. Not everyone who goes to bars is cheater.”

The 29-years-old Olukoya and Young were engaged on season 18 of The Bachelorette, which aired in 2021. They were the first official couple to walk away with an engagement.
Regarding their engagement young told the media that Olukoya was her person,
“I fall more in love every day,” Young shared. “I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family with a healthy marriage and I thought, I’m not going to give up until I have that. He’s my person. And I didn’t know I could love at this level.”
Young shared that she was fortunate enough to grow a family with a very pure and healthy marriage. At that time she thought that she is not going to give up her love until she has it in her hands. She further says that Olukoya is the same as her (he is my person). She couldn’t believe she could love that person to that extent.
Well, things got jinxed when they broke their relationship on June 17th. Young writes in her Instagram story that,
“I’m struggling to say that Nayte and I will be going our separate ways, but I stand with him in knowing the heaviness that is present in both of our hearts as this relationship has been very real for us,” noting that having her relationship in the public eye “has not been easy.”
Olukoya understood her statements and he also wrote that with a heavy heart and high emotions they are dealing with the phase with grace and in the best way possible. He also added that they both were private people and they will continue to be so.
