American football player Nick Bolton presently competes for the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs. The Texas native was always passionate about football and had participated in high school football leagues.

Early Life, Education & Family

On March 10, 2000, in Frisco, Texas, United States, Nicholas Bolton, also known as Nick Bolton, was born. He is Carlos and Jalunda Bolton’s eldest child, and they are Texas natives.

In the same way, he was raised in his native Frisco alongside his siblings. Jazmin Dunn is Bolton’s half-sister. He also has three younger brothers and sisters.

Unfortunately, his older sister’s terrible illness prevented her from continuing her athletic career.

However, on the plus side, Jazmin was always by Nick’s side and saw him improve as a linebacker over time. In his hometown, Lone Star High School, Nick completed his high school education.

Career

College Career at Missouri

Nick chose to play college football for the Missouri Tigers in 2018 after having a stellar high school career at Lone Star. He put in more effort to hone his abilities while playing for the Lone Star, and in his senior year, he made 130 tackles.

Thankfully, he had a stunning recovery the next season, accumulating 103 tackles.

He has 95 tackles and two sacks in 2020, despite the fact that Covid-19 caused his junior season to be shortened to just ten games.

First-team All-SEC and AP awards were among the many accolades the athlete got for his achievement. All-American second team member.

Scouting Report & Pro Day Performance

Nick was only in his second year of college, but even then he had already proven to be a capable defenseman. Nevertheless, Bolton was prepared for his Pro Day performance following his junior year at Missouri.

The Kansas City Chiefs selected Nick Bolton with the 58th overall choice in the 2021 NFL Draft, almost as expected. On May 13, 2021, he finally agreed to a contract with the Chiefs.

Bolton finished his first season, which included 16 games, with 112 tackles, one fumble recovery, and one defensive touchdown.

Sam Monson of the PFF ranked him as the 16th-best NFL linebacker based on his performance during his rookie season.

Nick also received the Mac Lee Hill Rookie of the Year award for his accomplishments in the 2021–22 campaign.

Nick is still playing for the Kansas City Chiefs and is prepared for the upcoming 2022–2023 NFL season.
