Nicolas Cage and his wife, Riko Shibata welcomed their first baby girl on Wednesday, September 7. Both of them look really happy seeing their newborn daughter named, August Francesca Coppola Cage.
Nicolas Cage is a father again! As he was the father of two kids before too with his past relationships. Similarly, on September 7, Wednesday, the good news popped up when Riko Shibeta gave birth to a baby girl.
They named the baby, August Francesca Coppola Cage and she is Riko’s first child. Likewise, Nicolas’ two kids are, Weston and Kal-El with his exes, Christina Fulton and Alice Kim respectively.
However, the couple’s representative stated that Nicolas and Riko are glad that they had a baby girl. Further, the representatives also said,
“Nicolas and Riko are happy to announce the birth of their daughter. Mother and daughter are doing fine.”
As the sources announces that The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent actor was expecting a baby girl before. Also, he thought name before she was born.
The meaning behind Nicolas’ daughter’s name, August Francesca Coppola Cage is giving tribute to Cage’s father, Ausur Coppola. In the interview taken in April, he stated,
“I’ll call her Lenny for short. I’m thrilled. It’s going to be the biggest adventure of my life.”

Meanwhile, he also stated that he is really excited for the baby girl and he was all set for diaper duty as well. Moreover, Nicolas Cage also stated,
“I enjoy being a father and taking my parental duties seriously.”

Nicolas Cage and his wife, Riko Shibata tied the knot in the year 2021, February 16 at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. The wedding was very small and intimate.
Though Riko is Cage’s fifth wife officially Nicolas stated that he is happy that he got Riko. Moreover, he also said,
“I know five is a lot, but I think I got it right this time.”
The American actor was first married to Patricia Arquette in the year 1995 to 2001. Similarly, after separating from Patricia he then married Marie Presley in the year 2002.
But they only lasted for two years as they decided to part ways in the year 2004. Furthermore, he married Kim in 2004 but they also lasted till 2016. And, in the year 2019, Nicolas was with Erika Koike for four days.

Cage also stated in October 2021 that the first time he met Riko is through mutual friends. Similarly, he was in Shiga, Japan where Nicholas was filming the movie, Prisoners of the Ghostland. Later, both of them were holding hands for the first time in February 2020.
“I’m looking forward to getting back to that. I miss it all. I miss watching a child discover things for the first time.The way the sunlight shines through a leaf.”
On the other hand, Nicholas Cage also added,
“Taking them to have a lobster dinner and having them freak out at the table. … I miss going to the toy store. I miss singing lullabies. I miss rocking in rocking chairs.”
Hence, the Lord of War star said that he engaged with his girlfriend on his brother, Marc Coppola’s radio show in August 2020. At that time he told his brother,
“She left New York and went back to Kyoto, Japan, and I went back to Nevada and I haven’t seen her for six months.”
