Her last encounter was against the powerful Haby “The Abigator” Niare of France, even though she had continued to level up. Even the referee made every effort to avoid making mistakes because of how intense the competition was.

She was behind Niare in the opening session, but she was stubborn, and her focus was too deep to give up easily. She started to launch shortly after, pushing the French fighters back.

The third round of the fight saw the intensity increase as both fighters attempted to feint one another.

Players gave their best efforts while pumping up their adrenaline; the game was outstanding. The scoreboard showed the point continually.

She claimed that because the athletes were not showy and were more concerned with winning than with entertaining, the general public did not enjoy how they competed in the Olympics.

Of course, winning is the ultimate purpose of an athlete’s years of sacrifice; pleasing others is not. She was quite dismayed by how her fellow citizens responded to their lackadaisical attitude, though.

She also mentioned how challenging and demanding it is to play taekwondo in a nation where it is the major sport.

She claimed that their unflinching criticism for not winning a medal and high expectations for them as “Korean must-haves” had overshadowed their achievements.
