On Thursday, Orlando Brown was taken into custody in Ohio on charges of misdemeanor domestic abuse.
According to TMZ, the Lima Police Department “received a call about a fight in progress.” before the “That’s So Raven” alum could escape.
The outlet noted that Brown has been in Ohio for more than a month when it claimed on Friday. Also that the actor’s alleged argument was with a family member or someone else residing in the home.
The 35-year-old was first in the news for an intervention-style interview with Dr. Phil McGraw four years prior to his arrest.
Dr. Brown had a turbulent year in which he was arrested about every other month for offenses. It ranges from drug possession and burglary to resisting a public officer and domestic assault. Phil’s appearance came at the conclusion of the year.
In May of that same year, he also gained notoriety for having a tattoo of the face of his former co-star Raven Symoné on his chest.
The rapper served time in prison in September 2018 after entering a no-contest plea to possession of drugs. Also, attempting to change the locks on his friend’s restaurant doors.
When discussing his time in prison with McGraw, the “Proud Family” alum donned snake-eye contacts and said that he was “locked [up] for no reason and set up.”
Brown continued by stating that he didn’t want to “dedicate another 90 days” away from family for therapy for his addiction issues.
At the time, the former “Family Matters” star said he wanted to “jump back into that life.” of fatherhood and “figure out who everybody is.”
Throughout the interview, he provided the talk show host with various names and ages for his family. As well as the information that a 2-year-old was “on the way” in the womb of his wife Danielle Brown.

The musician apologized for the interview from December 2018. Also, thanked McGraw for “opening the door to show people that actually think they don’t need help to go get help” earlier this year.
After the discussion went viral, he continued to inform Cam Capone in August that he had been “on the hideout,” adding. “I’m just waiting to die at this point. But realistically, I have goals.”
