Porsha William and Simon Guobadia tied the knot again on Saturday, just a day after their Nigerian wedding in Atlanta!

Porsha William and Simon Guobadia’s grand wedding twice!! Again on Saturday, they tied the knot with American rituals this time. Just a day before they tied the knot in a Nigerian ceremony.

Both weddings took place in Georgia. On Friday, they followed the Groom’s ritual, and Nigerian native law was followed. But on Saturday it was a traditional American grand ceremony.

The highlight of the wedding was their extravagant wedding dress. Porsha wore a ballgown with white laces while walking down the aisle. The wedding took place in the Methodist church.

“I definitely want the Lord to be in the place. I want the Holy Spirit to usher us into being a husband and wife,” she said in the church.

“I’m from the south, so I love being in church. I’ve never been married in a church, and Simon’s never been married in a church, so it’s going to be a new experience for both of us.”

The wedding was the true sense of fashion extravagance!

Porsha wore 4 dresses for the celebration the day throughout the evening on Saturday

The dress what tightly fitted and had full embroidery that she wore for the American wedding. The details of the dress were the off-shoulder with a leaves design hanging. She had a huge crown which was adorned with pearls and she looked like a princess.

She had paid attention to each and every part of her dress up and everything she did was noticeable (even her pink nails).

For the second dress, she changed into a red gown, an authentic Nigerian tradition that was designed by Albina Dylaby for the reception. The dress was a mixture of feathers and gold embellishments. She accessorized the look with Okuku as well.

Throughout the night the couple changed into 4 different outfits for the bouquet toss and also for the afterparty. She wore each and every dress with unique hair and dress.

“I thought, ‘Why not? It’s my last wedding forever,’” Williams told the media.

She also mentioned how much she loves being in the church and is excited about Simon marrying the church. Simon, a Nigerian-born businessman was previously married to Nigerian law. He never experienced an American wedding.

The total attended guests at the wedding was 350 and in front of them, they vowed to stay together for a lifetime.

There were friends of Porsha who attended the wedding from the ” Real Housewives of Atlanta”. The members included Monyetta Shaw, Kandi Burruss, Zolciak-Biermann, Drew Sidora, and Cynthia Bailey.

“We call each other ‘hubby’ and ‘wifey’ all the time, but now it’s going to be official, so I think I’m going to cry,” Williams said in from of the guests. “Simon says he’s not going to cry, but he’s cried at home when we just talk about our relationship, so I think he’s going to cry. I think we have a silent bet.”

Porsha had a lot of different celebrations on her big day. She previously only revealed the multiple celebrations and it was always a part of the plan. The reality star revealed that she wants to have three weddings on her show “Dish Nation”.

“He’s African, so we’re going to have a native law and custom ceremony, and a regular wedding, and then we’re going to have another wedding at one of the houses that are out of the country,” she explained.

Porsha and Simon always had a controversy about their relationship from the beginning. It is not the first time the businessman and Porsha married.

He was married to a costar of Porsha from the show, Falynn Pina when they met for the first time. And just a few weeks after their divorce, Porcha and Simon got engaged in May 2021.

Moreover, Porsha mentioned in the media as well, that she did not come in between the couple’s marriage. She was insecure about people labeling her as a marriage splitter.

“Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled. Our relationship is a positive, loving step forward in everybody’s lives.”

In the interview that happened on Friday, Porsha said that it is their last marriage as they had a series of weddings.

 “It’s our last marriage, OK? We belong together. That is it. It’s a blessing to be able to find your person. It doesn’t happen often.”

Porsha was married to Kordell Stewart from the year 2011-2013 and she was also engaged to Dennis Mckinley. She shares a 3-year-old daughter Pilar with Dennis. While on the other hand, Simon has five kids named Quentin, Nicole, Christian, Benjamin, and Ximena from his previous married life.
