Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thanked Elton John for being a very good friend to them and their children as well. They posted a surprise video giving best wishes to the singer for his farewell tour.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are grateful for Elton John’s support and presence in their lives. They also mentioned that the singer has a very good relationship with their two kids, Archie and Lilibet as well.
Similarly, wishing Elton the best for his future, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex posted a surprise video. The video was played before Elton’s concert at Dodger Stadium, which was recorded for Disney+.
Likewise, at the beginning of the video, Meghan and Prince Harry are standing together and they look very excited for expressing what they feel about John.
Furthermore, the video begins with Meghan Markle saying, “Hi Elton, we just wanted to say congratulations.” And then Harry chimed in between and added, “Congratulations” with a sweet smile on his face. Again, Markle stated,
“And we are just so proud of you. We’re so grateful that we were able to see you on your farewell tour also.”

Prince Harry on the other hand thanked Elton John in his own way by saying,
“Thankyou for entertaining everybody for so many decades. Thank you for being the friend that you were for my mum, thank you for being our friend”
The Duke of Sussex continued,
“Thank you for being friends to our kids and thank you for entertaining people right around the world.”
Meanwhile, Prince Harry also noted that the farewell tour will not be Elton’s last performance. He concluded his statement by saying,
“We love you and congratulations on an incredible career.”
Meghan Markle gave a flying kiss lying on her husband’s shoulder at the end of a surprise video.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle share a great friendship with Elton John. Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, and Elton used to be best buddies. Not only this, but Elton John also performed at Meghan and Harry’s wedding in the year 2018 at Windsor Castle.
Also, the singer was a star turn at the celebrations of the Platinum Jubilee for Queen Elizabeth. Moreover, he also became the host of the couple at his home in the year 2019.

Apart from this, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle weren’t the only ones sending best wishes to Elton. President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden along with crooner Tony Bennett gave good wishes to the singer. Biden stated,
“You are the greatest of all time. Not just because of your iconic songs, [but] because of your absolute courage. You turned pain into purpose and your advocacy has literally saved millions of lives.”
In addition to that, Dr. Jill Biden further added,
“Elton, as you close this chapter of your story, I hope you know that your legacy has no end. From the timeless songs that have given voice to our joys and sorrows to how you’ve inspired countless people to stand up and speak out. You will always be here on our playlist and in our hearts.”
