Professional Life and Career

Marquez’s career is nothing short of spectacular when we talk about it. To give an example, Rafael made his professional debut with Atlas at the young age of 17.

He spent three years there as a player before agreeing to a $6 million contract with Monaco in 1999.

Marquez then enjoyed four successful seasons in Monaco, where he won the Ligue 1. Additionally, he was chosen for the 1999–2000 Ligue 1 squad of the season.

To give an example, Marquez won the UEFA Super Cup, Copa del Rey, and FIFA Club World Cup once in addition to four times each in the La Liga, Supercopa de Espana, and Copa del Rey.

Rafael decided to relocate to the United States and play for the New York Red Bulls after having a great time there.

He then remained there for two years before returning to his native Mexico to play for Leon.
