Ray J and Kim Kardashian’s sex tape hit the web more than 14 years ago. However, it has been on everyone’s lips since The Kardashians rebooted the topic this year.
How has this topic again been in the spotlight?
Similarly, in a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Ray J aka Ray Norwood threw some heavy allegations at both Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian.
Likewise, he claims that both had facilitated the release of the popular celebrity sex tape.

“I’ve never leaked anything. I have never leaked a sex tape in my life. It has never been a leak. It’s always been a deal and a partnership between Kris Jenner and Kim and me and we’ve always been partners since the beginning of this thing.”
In addition, he said,
“I’ve sat in the shadows for over 14 years allowing the Kardashians to use my name, to abuse my name, make billions of dollars over a decade-and-a-half talking about a topic I’ve never really spoken about.”
Furthermore details,
Ray accused that the idea started out as his own after being in awe of the success of Paris Hilton’s sex tape.
Similarly, the sex tape again came to the headlines again this year. Likewise, in ‘The Kardashians’, Kim is seen grappling with the prospect of her children being exposed to the tape online.
Moreover, Kardashian’s six-year-old son, Saint saw a picture of his mother’s face while playing the online game Roblox. Furthermore, he showed that video to her.

The Claim
In the latest episode of The Kardashians about another Ray J and Kim Kardashian sex tape leak, Ray has claimed that the original sex tape was leaked by Kardashian herself. Similarly, he claims that the tape was leaked along with her mother, Kris Jenner.

However, the further idea was Kim who brought in Kris Jenner to negotiate a deal with Vivid Entertainment.
Likewise, Jenner had allegedly planned for a three-tape release with sex videos made in Cabo San Lucas, California, and snippets from the couple’s Cabo trip for the third.
Similarly, Ray mentioned that Kim pulled the Cabo tape from a “Nike shoebox under her bed” for distribution. Moreover, he had no tapes on hand at any time.
What is Ray’s side of the story?
He feels that his side of the story is necessary for the people to hear. Similarly, this incident made a huge turning point in his career, not for the best.
Ray J stated,
“I felt suicidal because when you know something’s real and it’s true and you’re watching a whole family create an empire from a lie they’ve created, it’s heartbreaking and disrespectful to all the entertainers who have been honest and true to their craft.”
In addition, he sadly mentioned,
“I’ve been walking on eggshells thinking I’m going to get in trouble for telling the truth and I’ve been holding onto it for the past 14 years and watching them humiliate me. They’re celebrating my destruction.”

Some facts
Kim K and Ray J started dating from 2002 to 2006 and reportedly filmed the sex tape during Kardashian’s birthday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in 2004.
Likewise, the tape, Kim Kardashian, Superstar, was released in March 2007 by Vivid Entertainment. Similarly, the company issued a press release at the time from a “third party” for $1 million.
Moreover, in February 2007, Kim sued Vivid Entertainment for invasion of privacy and for the profits from and ownership of the tape. Furthermore, she dropped the suit in April and settled for $5 million.

“It was that these people had the footage and were looking to sell it.”
And he added,
“A mutual friend of Kim and Paris Hilton had advised her that if she wanted to achieve fame, a sex tape would be the way to go … Kim had discussed the idea of producing a tape with her family beforehand … It was Kris who engineered the deal behind the scenes [with Vivid Entertainment] and was responsible for the tape seeing the light of day.”
