Early Career
From a young age, Ryan Brasier took up baseball. Brasier did not have as much success at Rider High School, though.
Ryan nevertheless assisted the group in winning a few prizes.
Brasier enrolled in Weatherford College after finishing high school and began playing baseball for Weatherford.
He attracted the attention of several major league clubs after putting on some thrilling performances at the college level.
Professional Career
Ryan Brasier was chosen by the LA Angels in the sixth round of the 2007 MLB Draft. He then committed to the Angels in his first professional contract.
He soon received a transfer to the Orem Owlz of the Rookie League. It’s never simple to transition from the minor leagues to the major league.
The following four years of Ryan’s career were filled with ups and downs. He finally acclimated to the Triple-A team Salt Lake Bees in 2012.

He joined the Oakland Athletics on July 7, 2015, looking for success after having trouble adjusting to life in MLB while playing for the Angels.

Braiser consequently played in the lower leagues for the remainder of the 2015 campaign. After that, Brasier played for the Triple-A team Nashville Sounds for the 2016 season.

Hiroshima Toyo Carp
The American international Brasier relocated to the Nippon Professional League in December 2016 in search of professional baseball success.
Ryan was acquired by Hiroshima Toyo Carp from Oakland Athletics.
He pitched relief in 26 games over the course of one season in the Japanese national league. He also walked eight times, struck out 19 times, and had a 3.00 ERA in 30 innings pitched.
Boston Red Sox
Brasier signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox and left for his native country in March 2018.
He was soon transferred to the Pawtucket Red Sox of the Triple-A International League.
A pitcher from Pawtucket was also selected to participate in the Triple-A All-Star Game. Brasier eventually received his well-deserved promotion to the major league on July 8.
He participated in his first Red Sox game the following day, a defeat to the Texas Rangers. He retired the side in order during his one inning of pitching.
World Series Championship
He made a total of nine appearances during the postseason, pitching relief for 82/3 innings while only allowing one earned run. He played a part in the team’s World Series triumph.
2019 Season
Brasier was a member of the Red Sox’s roster for the 2019 season’s opening day.
Ryan made his first MLB save on April 3, 2019, when he finished off a victory over the Oakland Athletics, his former team.
He missed the first team call-up after being added to the bereavement/family emergency list on July 11.
He was optioned to the Pawtucket Red Sox after a week. After a month, he was however called back to the major league team.
Ryan made 62 appearances for Boston by the end of the campaign, recording a 2-4 record and seven saves. Similar to this, he finished his 552/3 innings pitched with 61 strikeouts and a 4.85 ERA.
