Sergio had the opportunity to dominate opponents like Yaotzin Meza and Matt Hobar in the same year. He also won the Fight of the Night bonus prize.

He showcased his fighting abilities against Ryan Benoit in a flyweight match at UFC 185 the following year.

Previously referred to as Anthony Pettis’ little brother, the former lightweight champion of the UFC and WEC is now making his mark in the fight industry.

After Pettis’ defeat to Ryan Benoit by second-round TKO at UFC 185, he consciously decided to switch up his route.

After the Benoit defeat, Pettis declared, “I want to go home and think of getting TKO’d.”

“And I took a vacation from training and training,” she said, “and I just trained my thinking, trained my maturity, and trained myself because I felt that I deserved more and that I am better than that.”

“To make some modifications, I went back to the drawing board. Mentally, I would say that this was something I needed to access.”
