Between 2009 and 2010, he signed one-year contracts with two different clubs, the Boston Celtics on August 7 and the Denver Nuggets on July 14.

On November 18, 2010, he set a career-best with three black against the Portland Trailblazers.

European And Asian Career

Shelden Williams was also a member of the European team. He signed a one-year deal with Elan Chalon, the French League champions, on August 28, 2022.

After 10 games with the Elan Chalon, he had an abroad high of eleven points and eight rebounds per game. With these results, he appeared to be back in form, as he had been during his Duke days.

Williams, on the other hand, spent two years with the Chinese squad after playing for the European team. In October 2013, he joined Tianjin Ronggang and announced his retirement in 2015.

Post Playing Career

Williams stayed inactive on the court after retiring, focusing instead on his career as a basketball coach. In addition, after finishing his career as a player, he opted to become a coach.

He is presently an assistant coach with the College Park Skyhawks and a mentor for NBA G-brightest League’s basketball stars. Many sports columnists, however, proposed that he become an assistant coach at his alma mater, Duke.

He worked for the welfare of players in addition to his basketball career, demonstrating his passion for the game.
