American professional basketball player Solomon Jamar Hill most recently competed for the National Basketball Association’s Atlanta Hawks.

Solomon Jamar Hill, also known as Solomon Hill, was born on March 18, 1991, in Harvey, Illinois, USA. He is the proud son of Solomon Crawford and Laverne Hill.

For his junior season, Solomon averaged 12.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.06 steals in the 35 games he played in. Additionally, he was selected for the NABC All-District 20 and All-Pac-12 first teams.

Later, during his senior year at the University of Arizona, he played in 35 games and averaged 13.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.1 steals.

Professional career

Hill graduated from the University of Arizona with honors and was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the 2013 NBA Draft. He signed a rookie-scale NBA Summer League contract with the Pacers on July 3.

He had a career-high five rebounds and five points on two of six shooting against the Orlando Magic in the final regular-season game. Due to an ankle injury, Solomon regrettably had to miss the 2014 NBA summer league.

He scored a career-high 90 points in a 97-90 loss to the Washington Wizards after rejoining the Pacers. Similar to that, Hill defeated the Chicago Bulls quickly, 99-90, scoring 21 points and pulling down a career-high 12 rebounds.
