Stephanie Diggs is the mother of NFL players Stefon Diggs and Trevon Diggs. Mama Diggs has gone through a lot in her life, but she has always done her motherly duties! In truth, she tragically lost her spouse in January 2008, but she reared her three sons in Maryland: Stefon, Trevon, and Darez.

Professional Career of Stefon Diggs

Let’s go on to Stefon Diggs. He began playing football when he was five years old and went through high school and college.

Senior High School

Stefon was a runner-up for the Gatorade Maryland Player of the Year after scoring 23 touchdowns and receiving 810 yards in his junior year.

He was named MVP of the US Army All-American Junior Combine in his senior year of high school in 2011. He was then invited to play in the US Army All-American Bowl the following year.

Stefon received numerous scholarship offers from USC, Ohio State, Florida, Auburn, and other schools due to his high evaluations and performance.

However, to care for his family, he elected to attend the University of Maryland on an athletic scholarship.

College

Stefon attended the University of Maryland on a football scholarship and played for the Maryland Terrapins.

After accumulating 239 all-purpose yards, he was named ACC Specialist of the Week. Following the third time, he was named ACC Rookie of the Week for his 66-yard touchdown against Boston College.

To cap off his 2012 season, he was named ACC Freshman of the Year, finishing second to Duke Johnson of the Miami Hurricanes.

Stefon suffered an injury to his right fibula in a game against Wake Forest in 2013, ending his season. Stefon was only able to play in seven games this season, missing six of them.

Despite his injuries, both the coach and the media named him an honorable mention for All-ACC selection.

Due to his ban, Lowa was unable to play against Michigan State after scoring 53 yards for a touchdown and catching nine passes for 130 yards.

He also missed the final two games of the season due to a lacerated kidney.

Professional Life and Career

Stefon Diggs was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2015 NFL Draft and signed a four-year deal worth $2.5 million, including a $227,000 signing bonus.

Stefon missed the first three games of the season due to injury. Despite this, he led the club with 52 receptions for 720 yards and 13 receptions of 20 yards or more.

It was also the first time in NFL playoff history that a play ended in a score as time expired.

Buffalo Bills trade

On March 20, 2020, Stefon Diggs was traded to the Buffalo Bills for Justin Jefferson in the NFL draft.

On September 13, he made his new team’s debut, catching eight passes for 86 yards and helping the Buffalo Bills win 27-17.

With three touchdowns and nine catches for 145 yards in a win over the New England Patriots, he eclipsed Eric Moulds’ team record for receiving yards in a single season.

Moreover, Stefon got the AFC Offensive Player of the Week title for his great performance. Stefon was also named to his first Pro Bowl appearance.

Professional Career of Trevon Diggs

Trevon Diggs, on the other hand, was just picked by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2020 NFL Draft.

He scored 15 touchdowns and had 78 receptions as a wide receiver and defensive back in high school.

Similarly, Diggs played football at the University of Alabama throughout his undergrad years, switching to cornerback in his sophomore year.

Thus, He recorded his first sack Baker Raegan Mayfield as a professional player for the Dallas Cowboys, although he ultimately lost 38-49.
