While participating in the flea market circus, Steve-O started sending footage of himself to Jeff Tremaine, the editor of Big Brother magazine and future director of Jackass. The first season of the three-season MTV program premiered in 2000.
Steve-O immediately won over the audience as a result of the show’s enormous success. In 2001, Steve-O began to think about pursuing a solo career. His first solo DVD, Don’t Try This at Home, was published this year.
