High School
In his senior year of high school, Glenn tried his hand at football, basketball, track, and tennis.
Furthermore, he didn’t begin participating in organized football until his senior year, the same year that June Henley, Henley’s son, started participating and eventually made his NFL debut.
In his final year, Glenn was also able to participate in playoff games while playing cornerback and wide receiver. Before his senior year of high school, Glenn had 14 receptions for 416 yards and four touchdowns.
As the team’s co-captain, he was ultimately able to achieve second-team All-district recognition in 1991.
College
Terry Glenn’s passion for football grew over time, and he ultimately decided to enroll at Ohio State University. Raymont Harris and Eddie George had already been selected by the university, therefore Glenn began the season as a redshirt.
Glenn initially filled in for Chris Sanders as the starting wide receiver, playing in a total of 10 games. He maintained a record of 8 receptions for 156 yards with a club-wide average of 19.5 yards.
He was Sanders‘ and Joey Galloway’s backup once more in the ten games he played in as a sophomore. Additionally, he has made 7 receptions for 110 yards at an average distance of 15.7 yards.

New England Patriots
Glenn was selected by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft. Their six-year, $12 million pact was worth that much.
The Year 1996
Glenn’s midway training camp injury during his debut season infuriated Patriots head coach Bill Parcells. As a result, Parcells referred to Glenn as a “woman,” and he even skipped the team’s season opener against the Miami Dolphins.
