As they fly across the pond for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, all eyes will be on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s spokesman said in May that they will be attending the celebrations with their son Archie and daughter Lilibet.
On Wednesday, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their two children arrived in the United Kingdom. Ahead of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which will mark the monarch’s 70th year of the reign.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at a London airport on a private airplane with their children. Along with a small team of staffers, the Queen sent a car and security to meet them.
In May, a source revealed that Markle and Harry would be visiting the Queen with their three-year-old son Archie and 11-month-old daughter Lilibet.
In honor of Lilibet’s first birthday, which is June 4, Queen Elizabeth II is due to see her for the first time.
The couple’s representative said, “Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are happy and privileged to join The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities with their children this June.”
Due to their non-royal status, the couple will take a back seat during the four-day Jubilee celebration, which begins on June 2.
The couple and their children will not attend the official public appearance. As well as, there will be no photo op on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

The Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and other members of the royal family will be in attendance.
According to a palace statement, “the Queen has decided that this year’s annual Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Thursday, 2 June will be limited to Her Majesty. And those members of the royal family who are currently conducting formal public engagements on behalf of the Queen.”

As a result, Prince Andrew, who was freed of his formal duties following the settlement of a sexual-assault case, will not be present on the balcony for the big day.
However, Harry’s brother, Prince William, as well as Middleton and their three children. Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte. 7, and 4-year-old Prince Louis — may be able to meet baby Lilibet during the Sussexes’ vacation to the United Kingdom.
Prince William and his family, on the other hand, are believed to be attending a different ceremony. It is said to be hundreds of miles away, where the Queen will meet Lilibet.

Harry claimed his friendship with William was on the rocks during a candid interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021. It was after he and Markle left the royal family and moved to California.
Due to security concerns, Harry and Markle have only visited the UK a few times, and each time without their children.
Following their withdrawal from royal duties, the couple believes the UK government is failing to provide them with adequate security.
For the first time since moving to the United States in March 2020, Harry and Markle paid a visit to the Queen and his father, Prince Charles.
On their trip to the Invictus Games in the Netherlands in April, they reunited at Windsor Castle.
In April 2021, Prince Harry returned to the United Kingdom without Markle. He attended his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral, and in July 2021.
He returned alone to help install a statue of his late mother, Princess Diana, at Kensington Palace in London.
