Goop x Poosh candle “This Smells Like My Pooshy” is the first collaboration between Kourtney Kardashian and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop has been matched against Kourtney Kardashian’s Poosh, which she started in 2019.
The rivalry, however, is a false narrative, according to the two celebrity-turned-lifestyle gurus. To prove it, they’re producing a collaboration: the Goop x Poosh This Smells Like My Pooshy candle.
This Smells Like My Pooshy is a scent inspired by goops’ viral This Smells Like My Vagina candle, which was released in 2020.
Similarly, It has notes of black gardenia, geranium, green pepper, Timur berry, honeysuckle, ylang-ylang, and oak moss.
The candle will be available online at goop.com and poosh.com beginning at 9 p.m. PT, coinciding with Paltrow’s appearance on The Kardashians, and will cost $75 for a full size or $20 for a votive, as seen below in a BAZAAR.com first look.
Kardashian reveals the scent’s origin, saying, “Gardenias are a favorite flower of mine. They grew wild in my father’s yard, and he would cut them and keep them floating in a bowl inside the house. Gardenias also thrive in my outdoor entryway, and I enjoy how they bloom around my birthday.”
She further added that candles are an important part of her nighttime routine.
“Every night, my kids all get into my bed with me. And we light this candle, drink chamomile tea, and watch a movie together—there is nothing more peaceful to finish the day,” she says.

Even though the candle’s name is a joke, the entrepreneurs are serious about their relationship.
“I believe that part of the patriarchy’s power stems from the patriarchy’s creation of a sense of scarcity and rivalry among women,” Paltrow explains.
“‘Oh, there’s not enough place for me and someone else,’ or ‘Someone’s going to take my man,’ or ‘Someone’s going to take what’s mine,’ are all thoughts we’ve been conditioned to think.”
“When Poosh first launched, we ran into some of that, and I thought it was ridiculous because I don’t know how [Kourtney] felt about it. But I was like, ‘Women are allowed to have interests in the same field and start businesses. And doesn’t have to be that one is going to take something away from the other or undermine the other in some way.'”
Kardashian, for one, claims that the Goop parallels never deterred her from constructing Poosh.
“I knew we’d be judged when we first started. And I think one of the things my sisters and I take pride in is being supportive of other brands in the same sector because there’s so much opportunity,” she adds.

In an Instagram Q&A, Paltrow discussed the brands and teased the collaboration.
“This idea that women need to compete is heritage patriarchy nonsense; there is an opportunity for EVERY woman to achieve her goals”. She commented in response to a fan who inquired if Poosh “copied” Goop.
“Years ago, I was a victim of this type of thinking, so I understand where it comes from. When I see new wellness businesses, I am overjoyed. Everyone has a place in this world.” she further added.
