Timothy Thomas Hasselbeck is an American sports quarterback and current American football analyst working for ESPN. Hasselbeck played eight seasons in NFL.
He is the younger brother of former NFL quarterback Matt Hasselbeck.

Tim was selected to three Pro Bowls in his career. Hasselbeck led Seattle to six playoff appearances. This includes the franchise’s first Super Bowl appearance during the 2005 season.

Tim Hasselbeck was born on April 6, 1978) and grown in Norfolk, Massachusetts.  His parents Don Hasselbeck is a former New England Patriots tight end and his mom Mary Beth. He attended Xavierian Brothers High School in Massachusetts. His career started from school football.

Later, he attended Boston College. He graduated from marketing and started playing college football. This was a small start of his professional career.

How did Tim Hasselbeck start his career?

Talking about his career, Hasselbeck started his career at Boston College. Tim and his brother Matt played for the Boston College Eagles football team from 1994 to 1997. Furthermore, after his college graduation, he joined Green Packers in the 1998 NFL draft.

Tim ended his high school career with 1970 yards and 21 touches. Moreover, he was also named player of the year that year.

Hasselbeck joined Boston college in 1969. He started to play for Boston along with his brother, Matt. He became captain of Boston in his senior year. Finally, Tim finished the season with 133 passes for 2019 yards and 18 touches.

However, Tim missed the 2000 spring season because of his abdominal surgery.

Tim Hasselbeck I Professional Career:

Hasselbeck started his career with Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2001. Later, the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad in 2002 signed him as a free agent.

In 2003:  Washington Redskins signed Tim 2003. He spent two years with them as a backup quarterback. He got his first chance when Patrich Ramsey got injured.

Tim completed 13 of 19 passes for 154 yards. He helped Redskins to grab a 20-7 win against New York Giants. He threw two touchdown passes and no interceptions in that game.

The following week, he showed the worst performance with a passer rating (0.0). They experienced an embarrassing loss of 27-0 against the Dallas Cowboys.

In May 2005, the New York Giants signed Hasselbeck to be their backup for the quarterback. His only game action with the Giants consisted of two kneel downs. On September 1, 2007, his career ends at the Giants.

On October 16, 2007, Hasselbeck debuted as an announcer for Arizona Cardinal. Hasselbeck has a 63.6 career passer rating.

Well, Hasselbeck spent six seasons (2002-07) in the NFL as a player, and also on Washington Football Team (2003-04). Similarly, for New York Giants (2005-06), where he served as a backup to Eli Manning.

Hasselbeck made his television debut on September 23, 2007. He started reporting the Arizona Cardinals-Baltimore Ravens game for NFL on Fox.  Hasselbeck participated in the first annual “Broadcast Boot Camp” at NFL Films in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.

Currently, Tim works for ESPN. He also works as a fantasy football analyst. Moreover, Tim co-hosts Fantasy Football on ESN2 and ESPN.com

Matthew Michael Hasselbeck (born September 25, 1975) is a former American Football quarterback and current analyst for ESPN. He started his career at Boston College.

Green Bay Packers drafted Matt in the sixth round of the  988 NFL Draft. He spent the majority of his career with the Seattle Seahawks.

The older Hasselbeck was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2001. Matt led Seattle to six playoff appearances. Seattle made their first appearance under Matt’s leadership.

He was selected to three Pro Bowls in his career. Matt Hasselbeck also played for the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts.
