This dram shows a Pure love in Joseon Period which is Korea’s last dynasty before Japan annexed the country in the early 1900s. The lead U.S. Marine Eugene Choi returns to his home country and unwillingly falls in love with a noblewoman Go Ae-shin who secretly moonlights for the Righteous Army, a militia fighting for Korean independence. In conclusion, a jumble of love tringle, action, and sacrifice was portrayed cinematographically in a very calm and healing way.
