Trevor’s life has been nothing short of a roller coaster, including the loss of a loved one and more NBA transfers than he would like. He was charged with maltreating Tajh Ariza, his child, in 2020.

Lana Allen, the mother of the kid, asked for a restraining order because the NBA player had a history of inflicting physical punishment that resulted in harm. The savagery was depicted in vivid detail.

Allen claimed that their son was afraid of his father and therefore needed a restraining order against Ariza to protect him.

After Ariza resisted and was exonerated of the accusations, Allen was denied an extension of the temporary restraining order that had been given to him.

The judge determined that Trevor was not a threat after hearing the testimony of all parties involved, including both parents, therapists, the child, and others.

The judge granted Allen primary custody and granted Trevor significant visitation time in order to strengthen their bond.
