Trevor Mann | Career

Mann debuted as Ricochet in Chaos Pro Wrestling in 2003. He wrestled in the independent circuit before making his major debut on February 6, 2006, at Insanity Pro Wrestling’s Sacrifice.

He has wrestled in independent wrestling promotions such as Dragon Gate Japan Pro-Wrestling, Chikara, Pro-Wrestling Guerilla, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.


On June 24, 2006, the wrestler made his Chikara debut but was forced to depart. Puma, on the other hand, returned on October 27 as Helios, with a new haircut, new outfit, and a wrestling mask.

He went on to form “The Golden Trio” with Hallowicked and Delirious, and later “The Future is Now” with Dorado.

Prince Puma made his Evolve debut on January 16, 2010, in the show Evolve 1: Ibushi vs. Richards.

On July 24, 2010, he made his Dragon Gate USA debut in the Dragon 2010. On September 11, he and Cima won the Open United Gate Championship.

Pro Wrestling Guerilla

On September 5, 2010, Ricochet made his debut for the South Californian promotion Pro Wrestling Guerilla.

After many returns to the company, he defeated Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong in the Los Angeles 2014 Finals on August 31, 2014. He was given a chance to compete in the PWG World Championship.

However, on December 12, reigning champion Kyle O’Reilly successfully defended his championship.

On September 3, 2017, Ricochet won the Battle of Los Angeles for the second time, becoming the first wrestler to do it.

New Japan Pro Wrestling

Ricochet makes his NJPW debut in a tag team victory on May 22, 2013. In 2014, he was named Best of the Super Juniors.

Mann also became the top contender for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, being the youngest wrestler ever to do so.

Similarly, Ricochet and Ryusuke Taguchi launched “Funky Future” under the aegis of Taguchi Japan.

However, Ricochet claimed in November 2017 that he had performed his final match in Japan.

Lucha Underground

Mann then signed with the El Rey network’s new TV show Lucha Underground and began acting as prince Puma’s new ring moniker and disguised persona.

He won the Lucha Underground Championship in June of 2016.


Ricochet made his WWE debut in April 2018 at NXT TakeOver in New Orleans, Louisiana. He subsequently defeated Adam Cole to win the North American Championship, which he lost to Jonny Gargano.

On February 18, 2019, he made his main roster debut with Raw, winning a tag team victory alongside Finn Bálor.

On June 23, he defeated Samoa Joe to win the United States Championship, however, he lost the championship to AJ Styles 21 days later at Extreme Rules.

Furthermore, Prince Puma and Aleister Black won the 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
