In March 2018, Onfroy “banned” White from entering Florida and vowed to attack him if he did. Onfroy apologized to White at a concert later that month, and the two were able to patch things up. Later, White and Onfroy collaborated on many projects.

In honor of the musician, White dyed his hair purple on June 18, 2018, his 19th birthday and the day XXXTentacion passed away.

That same day, White also released “Ghost Busters,” a collaboration with Quavo, XXXTentacion, and Ski Mask the Slump God. In a 2021 interview, White asserted that he was still thinking about XXXTentacion daily.
