Later, on March 31st, 2006, Tyrus set a career-best with 27 points and eight rebounds against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In addition, Tyrus participated in the Sprite Rising Stars Slam Dunk Contest, becoming the first Chicago Bulls player to do so since Scottie Pippen in 1990.
