HC Frolunda

Victor signed a two-year contract with the Swedish Hockey League team Frolunda HC on April 3, 2016, after leaving his childhood team.

In 101 games for Frolunda HC, he made 36 total goals. In 2017, Victor Olofsson contributed to Frolunda HC’s Champions Hockey League triumph.

Sabres of Buffalo

Olofsson agreed to an agreement with the Buffalo Sabres to play in the National Hockey League when his two-year contract with Frolunda expired.

On April 24, 2018, he agreed to a two-year entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres.

In a defeat to the Detroit Red Wings on March 28, 2019, Olofsson made his debut for the Sabres.

Two days later, Victor scored the first goal ever scored while wearing a Sabers jersey, but he was unable to stop his team’s loss to the New York Islanders.

He scored a goal during a power play to help his club defeat the Dallas Stars 4-0. Olofsson quickly won the hearts of Sabres supporters thanks to his impressive shooting skills and commitment.
