City of Manchester
After a protracted career at Barcelona, the goalkeeper had agreed to play for Monaco in Ligue, but the club withdrew the offer due to his injury.
Manchester then gave him the chance to get his knee back to normal while honing his skills with the team. He agreed to a contract for 18 months in 2015.

The footballer faced Arsenal on May 17 in his inaugural game as a goalkeeper for Manchester.

Middlesbrough and Liège norms
After being put on the transfer list, Manchester United agreed to loan the athlete to Standard Liège for six months.

Later, in July 2016, Victor agreed to a two-year contract with Middlesbrough, however, he departed the club in July 2017.

During his international career, the player represented Spain. In 2010, Spain won the FIFA World Cup, and Victor played on the squad.

Victor Valdes | Personal Life
The former goaltender wed his longtime partner Yolanda Cardona in a lavish wedding in June 2017. She was in Victoria, a tiny town in Colombia noted for its coffee.
