Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were seen out with each other for a long time after Will slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars.
Will Smith and Jada enjoyed the company of each other on an afternoon date on Saturday. The couple was at Nobu Malibu as they were papped. They were together for the first time after the Oscar slap drama. Will slapped Chris in front of all in the defense of his wife Jada when Chris made a joke out of her illness Alopecia.
Moreover, they were looking to be on good terms with each other as husband and wife. They were enjoying the time with each other. Will even posed for the photograph taken by a fan while Jada was holding him.
At March’s award show, Chris was announcing the nominees in a very comedy way possible. Chris Rock said the same to Jada Pinkett,
“Jada, I love you, G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see it, all right?”
Jada was not looking as if it was fun, Will noticed the expression of his wife and walked down all the way to the stage to smack Chris in his face. The incident was broadcasted all over the world. Will took an extreme step as a defense for his wife but then he did not consider respecting Chris.
Even after the slap he gracefully took it like it was planned and continued saying,
Replying to that slap, Rock said, “Wow! Wow! Will Smith just smacked the shit out of me, everybody.”
After that, “Keep my wife’s name out your fucking mouth,” Will Smith shouted from the audience.
“Wow, dude, It was a G.I. Jane joke”, Rock replied.
Again after that, Will walked back to his seat again and shouted,
“Keep my wife’s name out your fucking mouth”
“I’m going to. Okay?” Rock said.
Poor Rock, he showed respect for the show and did not take any action right there. He could have done something but she continued his commitment and he continued the show.

Will apologized for his doings and also he resigned from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and sciences. He also gave justification for his action in the caption saying,
“Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.”

The show also banned him for the rest of 10 years. He posted an apology in March for slapping Chris and also seemed for an apology last month. Will posted a video across all his social media accounts.

In the video, he was saying that he reached out to Chris for an apology but he was not ready to have a conversation with Will. Then he apologized for his action and understood that his behavior it was totally unacceptable. He also asked Chris if he is ready to talk whenever he is ready.
Then he mentioned to his wife that she didn’t tell him to go that extreme then he blamed himself for that action.
“No. It’s like… I made a choice on my own from my own experiences, and from my history with Chris. Jada had nothing to do with it.”
“I’m sorry, babe. I want to say sorry to my kids and my family for the heat that I’ve brought on all of us,” Will added.
We don’t think there is any apology that can be understood at this point in time. Chris was abused in front of the world. People take years and years to build a reputation and take just a few seconds to lose it. Chris was just joking as Jade was very open about her condition but things could have been different.
Well, we hope Chris will be able to forgive him at least for the behavior. Taking a grudge is not an option forgiving is but some behavior is totally unforgivable/ it just doesn’t matter!!
