Barbie Ferreira made an announcement on Wednesday that she will no longer continue in the show “Euphoria”. Barbie participated for 4 long years on the show and she is known for the role of iconic Kat Hernandez. So what happened that she decided to leave the show suddenly?
In an emotional Instagram story, Barbie posted a heartfelt message. She mentioned that for 4 years the role of Kat was so close to her but then ultimately she have to say goodbye to that character.
She also hoped that her viewers could relate to the character and enjoy seeing her in the show. Barbie further added how lively the character was and hopefully, she engraved joy in your lives.
“After four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character Kat, I’m having to say a very teary-eyed goodbye,” the 25-year-old actress said.
“I hope many of you could see yourself in her as I did, and that she brought you joy to see her journey into the character she is today.”
She also writes in the conclusion that she had put in a lot of effort for the role to deliver it to the fans and she hopes everyone loved her character. Behind the text, she shared a cartoon version of her character Katherine Hernandez. The art was made by her co-star who plays the role of Jules Vaughn on the show.

A lot of fans when they heard the news about Barbie leaving the show, they expressed their disappointment via Twitter,
One fan commented saying, “BARBIE PLSSS NOOO ???? KAT WAS SO AMAZING SHE DESERVED BETTER AND U DID TOO :(,”, while another one writes, “You are the best Barbie… I love seeing you playing the role of Katherine… Now I cannot imagine anyone else being a part of it… Please don’t do this to us ?”
But then some of her good wishers were less shocked but the news of her exit, they wrote,
“I know it was probably not an easy decision but it seems so toxic. I’m glad you left,” one fan chimed in, adding, “You are an amazing actor and deserve to be treated right. You have many amazing projects waiting for you?.”

According to the reports, Barbie had some conflict with the creator of the show, Sam Levinson. The conflict was on the topic of the storylines the character had to portray. Maybe Barbie was unhappy with the lines she was supposed to say.
