Early Life and Education
The rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again was born on October 20, 1999, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, under the sign of the Libra. He is of African-American descent and is an American citizen.
Gaulden had to wear a temporary head brace for a short time after breaking his neck as a toddler. Three permanent scars from the mount were left on his forehead. However, his Father received a 55-year prison sentence after he was born.

On January 6, 2018, Gaulden released the track “Outside Today.” When it peaked at number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100, the song became Gaulden’s most successful charting single.
The day after agreeing to a joint venture agreement with Atlantic Records, on January 11, he announced the release of his debut studio album, Until Death Call My Name.
On March 15, Gaulden was freed from prison, and on May 19, 2018, he dropped his next mixtape, Master The Day Of Judgement.
Gaulden was punished with 14 months of House arrest for earlier in 2019 probation violations. The House imprisonment prevented him from making music outside of his House. On September 25, 2019, Gaulden released the “aptly titled” track “House Arrest Tingz.”
“Bandit,” the final new song by rapper Juice WRLD as a featured artist before his death, was released on October 4, 2019, by Gaulden and Juice WRLD. With this song, NBA Youngboy has his most extensive charting single to date. It peaked at number 10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
38 Baby 2, Top, and Sincerely, Kentrell
The Still Flexin, Still Steppin mixtape by Gaulden was released in February 2020. It debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200, making it his second-highest charting album after his number-one record AI YoungBoy 2, from 2019.
On April 24, 2020, Gaulden released his mixtape 38 Baby 2, which debuted at the Top of the Billboard 200. Gaulden announced that Top, his second studio album, would be released on September 11 on August 20, 2020.
The songs “All In,” “Kacey Talk,” and “My Window” with Lil Wayne from the Hot 100 are all present. The album debuted at the Top of the Billboard 200, becoming his third number-one album in less than a year.
Legal issues
Attempted murder
On November 28, 2016, U.S. Marshals seized Gaulden in Austin, Texas, ahead of a concert on suspicion that he had fired upon a crowd of onlookers after stepping out of a car on a South Baton Rouge street. Gaulden was charged with attempting to murder two individuals. Up until May 2017, Gaulden was incarcerated for attempting first-degree murder.
“I don’t think they actually target, but if you got a name, they know who you is, you do something, they going to come to get you, and whoever you’re with and whatever they do, you’re answerable for it just because you got the largest name,”
He said in response to a query about his detention.
Assault and battery lawsuit
A man claiming to be their bodyguard, tour manager, or tour D.J. reportedly filed a lawsuit against Gaulden. He Never Broke Again musician Tyquian “Quando Rondo” Bowman on March 12, 2019, alleging abuse, violence, and emotional distress.
The lawsuit claims that on December 21, 2018, while the two musicians were performing at a concert in Florence, South Carolina, an altercation occurred between them and an angry fan.
The claimant claims that backstage, where he alleges Gaulden and Bowman assaulted him, was where they were led by management, venue owners, and event organizers.
Gaulden’s lawyer claimed that although he was unaware of the occurrence at the time, he would check into how the lawsuit turned out.
