Zaza Pachulia, a former professional basketball player, and executive from Georgia, advises the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association on basketball operations. He won two NBA championships in 2017 and 2018 while a member of the Warriors.

Pachulia was born in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital, on February 10th, 1984, to his parents Marina and David Pachulia. His original first name was Zaur Pachulia, which he altered later in life.

Also in 2008, he played in his first playoff game for the Hawks, losing to the Boston Celtics in the opening round. Atlanta made the playoffs while Zaza was the team’s center for four straight seasons.

He was given a one-year deal by the Golden State Warriors in July 2016. He took part and made 70 starts, with the Warriors averaging nearly 6 points and 6 rebounds over the course of 70 games.

When the Warriors went on to win the Finals that year, Zaza became the first Georgian to accomplish the feat.

Pachulia’s basketball career has had its share of highs and lows. He has taken part in many chaotic circumstances throughout his career, while also breaking records and winning championships.

In the first game of the 2016–17 NBA Western Conference Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors, Zaza’s closeout play terminated Kawhi Leonard’s season.

The Pachulia couple also has four beautiful children (two sons and two daughters). Miriam and Nutsa, David and Saba’s charming little daughters, don’t seem to be as interested in basketball as the couple’s sons, who are occasionally seen playing the sport.
